10 mm sand and cement is usually applied to block work/existing brickwork as a backing to receive ceramic tiling.
All corners and junctions are protected with stainless steel beads.
To maintain mix design quality we apply pre-mixed bagged render:
- Weber OCR T (sand and cement no lime)
- Proprietary High Impact Render
15 mm sand cement fibre reinforced render is normally applied to holding cells in Court Buildings, Police Stations and Prisons:
- Fibrocem (Lafarge)
- Pozament (Tarmac)
- Sand and Cement with fibres
The latest product which we recommend is Tarmac Pozament SRI Render.
SRI is a polymer modified product which excludes fibres but provides a high impact finish.
When on major projects we apply all renders by machine.
